My newest adventure in dining has been La Savina restaurant at the Mondrian South Beach. With it’s unique lobby with its interesting black staircase makes your experience an Alice in Wonderland trip. The La Savina restaurant is design just as amazing. From the gorgeous Eames Dowel-Leg chairs to the great Biscayne Bay views is enough to make you feel excited about dinner or breakfast. The Crudo’s on their menu are truly fresh and delicious. I recommend to try them all. The Tuna is extremely fresh and beautiful in color. It’s made with romesco and cilantro to really bring out the flavor. The dining experience and the service was excellent!
When I get that craving for good and simple sushi Akashi Japanese Restaurant in South Miami gets it right. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The lunch menu is easy and serves it up well with great combinations to choose from.
I love fresh Ahi tuna and when paired with mangos, avocados and mixed greens there is no stopping me. Hailstone makes a very good Sashimi Tuna salad that’s perfectly seared and fresh. I always enjoy my lunches here and this delicious salad always fits the bill.
It’s that time of the year in Miami where you have two months of great dining with Miami Spice. We decided to try Bourbon Steak in Adventura where Michael Mina is always creating appetizing menus. This Ahi Tuna appetizer is pretty colorful and refreshing. Sweet local watermelon with shiso and bamboo rice is the stage for this fresh tender Ahi Tuna. It’s on their Miami Spice menu and it’s worth it.
