Frida’s Secret is this amazing dessert at Loba Restaurant in MiMo. The dessert has so many wonderful layers of flavors and textures. It’s a Mexican chocolate brownie, azucar! sweet corn ice cream, chocolate corn flakes. It’s a bit spicy, but perfect with the rest of the flavors combined. So now that you know the secret, come in and try it!
If you come to New Orleans you must try this blend of sweet spices, long grain rice, deep-fried and dusted with powdered sugar, served with maple syrup. It’s a recipe that dates back to the mid 1800’s and still being served at the Old Coffeepot Restaurant. And try getting a solo acapella from the waitress if you get the lucky chance! #sharemyplate
I am so excited to be part of The Guinea Club dinners at Addy-licious Kitchen! This group of foodies get together and enjoy amazing dishes from all around the world. Addy creates these amazing and sometimes 5-7 course meals that last 4-5 hours long. Her partner Dawn entertains us with refreshing libations. This Spicy Salt-and-Pepper Shrimp dish that everyone enjoyed made with lemon juice, soy sauce, minced fresh cilantro, sugar and minced garlic. It was served with a citrus-soy dipping sauce at room temperature. Can’t wait for the next adventure at The Guinea Club with Addy and Dawn and the rest of the foodies.
The best way to end National Taco Day is by enjoying an awesome lunch at Huahua’s Taqueria in Miami Beach. They have a variety of delicious tasty tacos and a killer Elote – Grilled Mexican Sweet Corn. Chef Todd Erickson gave us a treat with this amazing dessert. Dulce de leche flan with agave caramelized apples and cinnamon sugar crispy shell taco. That was one of the best finishes to an awesome lunch and the end of National Taco Day!
