A new restaurant in the MiMo district opened up and I’m already loving it. It’s called Loba Restaurant and it’s quite the spot. I tried their Market Whole Fish from their menu (pictured here). It has sorrel, arugula, orange, fennel, micro greens, pink guava and lemon. The bits of the pink guava on the fish is pretty amazing and tasty. The other offerings are just as delicious and well prepared. The interior space is comfortable and quaint and has a unique modern design with natural elements. Swing by when you are driving down the boulevard. You might just get a craving to come back.
This amazing sweet and crispy dessert called Sfogliatina Di Caramello was a great end to a lovely James Beard menu by Carla Pellegrino at Touché Miami. It consisted of orange curd Chantilly with fresh raspberries and frizzy lime. It’s always a pleasure to dine and enjoy great drinks at this lovely and sexy rooftop restaurant in the heart of Downtown Miami.
Red and yellow roasted beets with endive, goat cheese and slivers of oranges. Delicious and very fresh. Well prepared and truly balance with the amount of beets and orange slices that this dish brings. I also would recommend their Seafood Risotto. It was off the chain. Try out Dolce Italian Restaurant at Gale on South Beach.
