Who doesn’t like great grilled cheese? Ms Cheezious has been creating delicious grilled cheeses for a while as a food truck and now recently, they’ve opened up a brick and mortar in the MiMo area of the city. The space is cool and has an incredible backyard area and space for great entertainment and food. If you get the chance to visit, try their amazing Caprese Melt. Warm, savory and buttery delicious!
Love Mediterranean food and Mina’s Mediterraneo just might be my new hangout. I tried their sliders and the best part, you can actually try all of them on one extraordinary dish. The Falafel, the grilled chicken, the Gyro and the Lamb burger all come together with dipping sauces to add zest and flavor to every bite. Good to share (if you like that kind of thing) or as a meal all for yourself. The space, parking and service are all great! Will be visiting very soon.
We are all familiar with Pollo al Pastor but are you familiar with Huahua’s Taqueria’s version? Charred pineapple, cilantro, onion, lime crema in a warm tortilla is perfect. You get all the flavors as you enjoy every bite of this taco. Don’t forget to get the Elote grilled Mexican Sweet Corn. It’s to die for.
This amazing dish was one of the dishes we learned how to make during our Edge Steak & Bar Popup Cooking Class Series with Chef Aaron Brooks. It was really a wonderful treat and easy to make. The outstanding citrus and buttery taste of this dish was well balance and tangy! The grilled bread complimented the sauce and captured the smoky taste of the smoked tomatoes. Truly a winner!
